They're similar but not the same. Is your priority stability or ease of use? I recommend only one of these distributions to new Linux users.
Immutable Linux is the future and Ultramarine has big plans to make the switch some time in the future. Until then, it should still be on the top of your "wish list" of Linux distributions.
